Beatrice Melba Hill (born October 29, 1945), best known by her stage name, Melba Moore is an American singer, actress, entertainer. She is the daughter of saxophonist Teddy Hill and R&B singer Bonnie Davis. Tony Award winning and two-time Grammy nominee, Melba Moore's enduring talent has earned her a rewarding career in recording, theater, television, music and film. For over 30 years, her powerful and beautiful four-octave voice has endeared her to music lovers around the world as one of the great virtuoso singers of popular R&B songs and jazz standards.
