Little known 1970's philly group Anglo Saxon Brown later became Silk for one album entitled 'Midnight Dancer' (1977). The only charting single from that album was Party (Pt. 1) which peaked at #81 in the R&B charts and #107 in the US Billboard Hot 100 charts in 1977. Other than the one 1977 charting single from the aforementioned group, the discography below is for the American R&B group called Silk, formed in 1989 in Atlanta, Georgia. Silk is best known for their hit singles, "Freak Me", and "Happy Days" from their debut album, Lose Control. Another hit from Lose Control, "Girl U For Me", helped the album reach double platinum status. They later had success with singles such as "I Can Go Deep", "Hooked on You", "Don't Rush", "If You" (released February 23, 1999) "Meeting in My Bedroom", and "We're Calling You."
