The Sylvers were a family musical group based in Watts, Los Angeles, California and were a popular act during the 1970s, recording the hit singles " Wish That I Could Talk to You", "Fool's Paradise", "Boogie Fever", "High School Dance" and "Hot Line". The group enjoyed eight R&B Top 20 hits in total between 1972-78. They released ten albums between 1972-84: The Sylvers (Pride Records 1972); The Sylvers II (Pride Records 1973); Sylvers III (MGM; Records 1974); Showcase (Capitol Records 1976); Something Special (Capitol Records 1976); New Horizons (Capitol Records 1977); Forever Yours (Casablanca Records 1978); Disco Fever (Casablanca Records 1979); Concept (Solar Records 1981) and Bizarre (Geffen Records 1984).
